Role overview: Trading Manager (Trading & Gaming) – Waterloo, Hybrid Working – Full Time – Fixed Term Contract (12 Months) – Grade 4. This role is accountable for the online performance of the Currys Computing & Gaming category.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver growth versus budget and market share growth.
  • Review and reforecast online sales, highlighting risks & opportunities.
  • Share insight to help key stakeholders understand online performance and shape strategy (traffic, conversion, AOV).
  • Manage the Assistant Trading Manager and develop their talent/skill set.
  • Plan, execute and measure all digital initiatives for the category, particularly promotions.
  • Work closely with merchandising, design and digital marketing teams to deliver right‑first‑time execution.
  • Engage with traffic acquisition teams to optimise quantity and quality of traffic.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the operational context of the range.
  • Collaborate with product and UX teams to deliver improvements that maximise online customer experience, NPS and trading performance.
  • Support the wider trading team as required, attending meetings and taking on ad‑hoc projects.
