Role Overview

Waterloo – Hybrid Working
Full Time – Permanent – Grade 6

What you will be doing:

  • Lead the evolution of our commerce media business, monetising our physical and digital assets.
  • Define product offerings, pricing models, and go‑to‑market strategies that deliver high‑impact advertising.
  • Establish a high‑performing sales and account management team for partners and advertisers.
  • Own the monetisation P&L, setting revenue targets and defining pricing strategies and margin expectations.
  • Build closed‑loop reporting that proves to advertisers how Currys investment drives sales and builds brands.
  • Identify, pitch, and secure partnerships with non‑endemic brands that align with customers’ lifestyles.
  • Partner with finance, merchandising, and marketing teams to make sure the big picture works for everyone.
  • Unlock new revenue opportunities through monetising data assets with AI‑powered insights.
  • Spot under‑utilised assets and turn them into revenue opportunities.

What you will bring:

  • A track record in Retail Media, Digital Advertising or Commercial Partnerships within retail environments.
  • Experience building and managing B2B sales teams with strong pipeline management and forecasting skills.
  • Confidence structuring and negotiating complex deals including data licensing and media partnerships.
  • Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and the metrics advertisers care about.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing a P&L, setting revenue targets and managing margins.
  • Innovation capability that spots untapped assets and turns them into revenue opportunities.
  • Excellent influencing skills to work with stakeholders who care deeply about their customer or stores.
  • A hunger to deliver transformational change inside an iconic retailer.
