As part of our Product, Optimisation & Personalisation team, we use experimentation and continuous improvement to make our digital journeys easier, more personal and more effective for customers and colleagues.
As an Assistant Product Owner, you'll support the delivery and optimisation of key digital customer journeys, with a particular focus on checkout, payments and conversion.
Working closely with Product Owners, Analysts, Designers and Engineers, you'll help translate customer insights and business requirements into improvements that enhance customer experience and commercial performance.
We're particularly interested in hearing from Business Analysts, Fraud Analysts, Payments Specialists and e Commerce professionals looking to develop their career within Product Management.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the management and prioritisation of the product backlog, ensuring requirements and tasks are clearly defined and aligned to business priorities.
- Defining and documenting user stories, acceptance criteria and business requirements to support product delivery.
- Supporting the optimisation of checkout and payment journeys to improve customer experience, conversion and commercial performance.
- Analysing customer, transaction and digital performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform decision‑making.
- Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Design and Analytics teams to deliver product enhancements, experiments and customer‑focused solutions.
- Participating in agile ceremonies and contributing to the continuous improvement of digital products, processes and customer journeys.
Qualifications
- Experience in a payments, fraud, business analysis, e Commerce, digital or product‑focused role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed recommendations.
- Experience gathering requirements and supporting the delivery of business or technology initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A customer‑focused mindset and passion for improving digital experiences.
Desirable
- Experience working with payment products, gateways or processors.
- Understanding of end‑to‑end checkout and payment journeys.
- Fraud prevention, transaction monitoring or risk management experience.
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Fraud Analyst or Product Owner.
- Retail or online experience.
- Exposure to experimentation, optimisation or conversion rate improvement initiatives.
