As part of the Product, Optimisation & Personalisation team, the Assistant Product Owner supports delivery and optimisation of key digital customer journeys across Currys' online experience.
Responsibilities
- Support the management and prioritisation of the product backlog, ensuring requirements and tasks are clearly defined and aligned to business priorities.
- Define and document user stories, acceptance criteria and business requirements to support product delivery.
- Support optimisation of digital customer journeys to improve customer experience, engagement and commercial performance.
- Analyse customer, behavioural and digital performance data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform decision‑making.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design and Analytics teams to deliver product enhancements, experiments and customer‑focused solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of digital products, processes and customer journeys.
Qualifications
- Experience within a retail, e‑commerce, digital, customer experience, business analysis or product‑focused environment.
- Experience supporting the delivery of digital initiatives, projects or customer‑focused improvements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and insights to identify opportunities and support decision‑making.
- Understanding of customer journeys and the factors that influence online customer behaviour.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and product development practices.
Desirable
- Retail or transactional e‑commerce experience.
- Experience working with digital customer journeys, online trading or conversion optimisation.
- Exposure to A/B testing, experimentation or digital analytics.
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Coordinator or similar role.
