Location: Newark Distribution Centre

Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Grade 2. Salary £28k-£30k depending on experience. Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday. Hybrid.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyse data to measure customer and cost impact of Lost in Transit and Failed Collections.
  • Provide recommendations based on findings to propose actionable improvements that benefit the customer and the business.
  • Generate new insights by exploring innovative ways to use existing data or develop new insights reflecting the customer experience.
  • Support operational reporting by assisting the Outsource Operations Manager with preparing and maintaining key departmental reports.
  • Challenge carrier discrepancies by reclaiming costs from carriers when parcels are lost or collections fail, protecting customers and the bottom line.
  • Strengthen relationships with carriers and 3PL providers by refining processes and driving efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, supporting operations or supplier management functions, with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and internal systems.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a track record of gathering, analysing and interpreting data to drive decision‑making.
  • Advanced Excel skills, confident using spreadsheets to create reports, analyse trends and manage data.
  • Attention to detail, precision and accuracy in handling data, reporting and identifying discrepancies.
  • Effective communication skills, with experience presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem‑solving mindset, proactive in identifying issues and providing innovative, data‑backed solutions.
  • Organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high standards.
  • Customer‑focused thinking, committed to enhancing the customer journey whilst driving cost efficiencies.
  • Formal qualification (desirable) in administration and analytics, or relevant demonstrable experience.
