Join us as Assistant Go to Market Manager and you’ll be right in the centre of our commercial team. You’ll build, plan and execute our customer and commercial strategy and develop our business for future growth. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to progress their career in Marketing, preferably with a degree in Marketing/Business Management.
You will be a lynchpin between functional representatives in the squad pulling together annual, quarterly and in‑season initiatives and activities to maximise performance. You will also be working with suppliers to define marketing strategy, supporting with marketing campaigns and projects.
Supporting the Senior GTM/GTM manager to ensure the category squad adequately understands the category landscape, including customers, competitors, trends, financial performance, range performance, threats and opportunities, to support the development of the annual category strategy.
Supporting the Senior GTM/GTM Manager to create the blueprint for the annual category strategy, helping define the guiderails for:
- target KPIs (CSAT, share, EBIT, stock)
- customer shopping journey
- category proposition
- the ‘go to market’ plan
Supporting the squad in landing all major initiatives, including major new product launches, new merchandising solutions and changes to the customer journey online and in-store.
Bringing appropriate analytics and insight from the online and customer team to support decision making related to day-to-day trading, events and promotions and range changes.
Meeting with suppliers based all over the UK, primarily around London.
You’ll need:
- Experience working in a similar role
- Good numerical and analytical skills to review data and provide recommendations/actions plans to drive sales, profit and cash
- Considerable experience of working within a category or commercial team
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- Good working knowledge of SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as MS Office workflow tools
