The role supports the online trading team within Mobile across currys.co.uk and carphonewarehouse.com. The role will help to maximise the online commercial performance of said category using a variety of data sources including web analytics data on traffic, conversion and order value to drive insights, actions and measurable improvements.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Support in delivering growth vs budget and market share growth.
  • Daily/weekly trading reporting and analysis; turning this into actionable insight.
  • Monthly reporting and ad hoc requests for ‘deep dives’ into trading performance, with support from analysts.
  • Working closely with your online merchandising counterpart, design, marketing and buying teams to ensure the smooth planning and launch of promotions.
  • Creating competitor reporting for your category; ensuring visibility to key stakeholders of any risks or opportunities.
  • Support with Monday reporting, period reviews/QBRs, supplier meetings - have a specific interest in a smaller area of the category but also maintain an overview of the category and able to step in if needed.
  • Homepage, Universe, Category organisation and prioritisation with GTM and optimisation post-go live.
  • Understand the performance of brand and categories for area to give data led recommendations on positioning and copy and imagery.
  • Managing relationship with merchandising (PLP housekeeping, link creation and amendments, sticker & AVM maintenance, terms).
  • Work with marketing channels to understand and communicate key deals, optimising text-ads, maintaining competitiveness in affiliate market and finding new opportunities.
  • The role will work closely with commercial squads, marketing and other ecommerce colleagues to drive the category performance in line with the strategy and support in managing the day to day trading of the Currys website.
