The Change Coordinator will support the Programme Manager to introduce consistency in reporting and visibility of project status, demand planning and regular financial review across the portfolio. Within the portfolio there are more than 20 projects which vary greatly in size and complexity. You will need to work closely with the allocated project leads to introduce and embed these standards and cadence, and you will need the ability and patience to teach, mentor and guide them through these steps as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand Currys and MVNO, its strategic aims and priorities
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues within the business functions and with peers within iD Mobile, Group teams such as Technology, Data and Transformation to ensure business outcomes are clearly defined
  • Setting up, co‑ordination and facilitation of the Programme Governance boards including portfolio review, recruitment and resource allocations and team events / meetings
  • Budget support – update on a monthly basis the portfolio budget (by project) providing status updates to various Boards
  • Improve awareness and introduce regular communications across the team
  • Portfolio plan support – work with Head of Delivery (HoD), Programme Managers, Project Managers to surface planned tasks and deliverables, Exec level risks, issues and dependencies
  • Attend management meetings and capture meeting actions, decisions, risks and issues and log in the Programme / Portfolio RAID
  • Actions management – follow up with meeting attendees and programme management team members on actions logged to track progress. Escalate to HoD where there are delays, risks or issues
  • Produce weekly, fortnightly and monthly status reports (PowerPoint)
  • Folder creation and management of the Programme MS Teams site
  • Provide DCG Programme team with programme support as required
  • Programme tool kit maintenance (team contacts, ways of working, templates, etc.)
  • Work closely with IT HoD to provide support as required
  • Assist with project resourcing by raising resource requests and onboarding contractors
  • Raising and tracking purchase orders
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of project coordination in a similar scale
  • Excellent administration and co‑ordination skills
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills and meeting competing priorities
  • Strong meeting and workshop facilitation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to find ways of solving or pre‑empting problems
  • Experience of project planning/maintenance of plans using MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint and other tools
  • Good knowledge and experience of budgeting (commercially astute)
  • Good knowledge of resource allocation
  • Experience of working with outsource partners desirable
  • Experience of Retail desirable
  • Understanding of project practices and methodologies
  • Basic to intermediate IT/Technical understanding
  • Personable and flexible in terms of ways of working – can do attitude a must!
  • Self‑motivated, an organised multitasker
  • Able to work in a fast‑moving, dynamic, remote working environment
  • Prince 2 or similar project methodology (desirable)
