We are looking for a dedicated, reliable self-employed freelance groom to join our team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with and caring for horses.
  • Must be competent and confident in handling, grooming, and general horse care.
  • Must have a driver's license.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible to help cover colleagues' holidays and sickness when required.
  • Reliable, motivated, and proactive, with good communication and organisational skills to ensure smooth running of daily activities.
  • An interest in helping others learn is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily care and welfare of horses, including feeding, mucking out, turning out/in, clipping and general yard duties to a high standard.
  • Supporting lessons, events, and other activities at the yard.
  • Ensuring high standards of care and presentation are maintained at all times.

Hours: Flexible including both weekdays and weekends.
