Factory Labourer

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Machine Shop Labourer to join our busy aerospace manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work in a fast‑paced, technical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the machine shop.
• Sweep and tidy areas around CNC machines.
• Assist machinists and other employees with general housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste materials appropriately.
• Clear and remove metal swarf and other debris from machines.
• Support production staff with general labouring duties as required.
• Perform some heavy lifting as part of daily activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment is an advantage, but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely at all times.
• Physically fit and able to lift moderate to heavy loads.
• Reliable and punctual.
