We're looking for a Manufacturing Supervisor to lead and develop teams within our Assembly and Paint operations, ensuring the safe, efficient and effective delivery of our manufacturing schedule. This role is essential to improving the efficiency of our manufacturing processes, supporting our evolving organisational structure, and advancing our ongoing turnaround plan.

In this new Supervisor role, you will take responsibility for overseeing the processes being transferred to our newly acquired unit, driving productivity, quality and On Time In Full (OTIF) performance, while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and teamwork. Working closely with Team Leaders, Operators and the wider business, you will play a key role in removing waste, improving operational performance, developing employee capability and ensuring high standards of safety, quality and customer service are consistently achieved.

Main Purpose of Role

  • Deliver the manufacturing schedule safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
  • Lead and develop Team Leaders and Operators to improve productivity, quality, OTIF performance and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reducing waste, increasing spindle utilisation and identifying opportunities to optimise processes, equipment, training and workplace layout.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, accurately record operational activity and effectively communicate relevant information across the business.
  • Collaborate with other departments and Supervisors to ensure the smooth flow of work and timely delivery of products throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and develop Team Leaders and Operators through regular communication, coaching, performance management and training.
  • Create a positive, accountable and high-performing culture that promotes teamwork, safety and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
