We’re looking for an experienced Chief Inspector to lead the inspection team, ensuring accurate and timely inspection of aerospace and defence components to stringent quality standards. This role is vital to maintaining and improving our AS9100-certified Quality Management System and driving continuous improvement throughout the business.
Experience, Qualifications & Desirable Skills:
- Senior inspection experience in aerospace, defence, or other high-precision engineering industries.
- Proven leadership, team coordination, and mentoring skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Proficient in the use of manual measurement equipment, and experience with Mitutoyo CMMs.
- Working knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 FAIR requirements.
- Knowledge of Inspection and measurement techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- In-depth understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
