Salary: Basic £29,000 plus commission (OTE £31,000)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm. Saturday rota participation required.

The Service Coordinator supports the efficient day-to-day operation of the workshop by assisting the Senior Service Co‑Ordinator with job allocation, parts control, workshop administration, customer communication, and vehicle health check follow‑up. The role is responsible for ensuring technicians have the correct parts, tyres, oils, and consumables available when required, maintaining accurate stock control processes, and supporting workshop productivity and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience within an automotive dealership, workshop, parts department, or customer service environment.
  • Good organisational and administration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Basic IT literacy and willingness to learn dealership management systems.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Experience within a service department, parts department, or workshop environment.
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, tyres, and workshop consumables.
  • Experience of Vehicle Health Checks (VHCs).
  • Understanding of workshop operations and technician workflows.
  • Experience of stock control processes.
