Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting for a Transport Clerk to join our busy transport team at our Warrington depot.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and reliable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced transport environment.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day coordination of transport operations, ensuring deliveries, documentation and system information are managed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Select and coordinate appropriate distribution solutions to meet operational requirements.
Input and maintain accurate delivery information on the Pallet Network system.
Collate, check and process Proof of Deliveries (PODs), ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
Maintain accurate transport records and carry out system housekeeping.
Liaise with hauliers and transport providers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues.
Prepare and organise necessary documentation for drivers.
Work closely with the warehouse and other depots to ensure smooth transport operations.
Accurately enter and maintain information on the Traffic Management System.
Assist with delivery bookings and coordinate transport requirements to meet deadlines.
Ensure all paperwork is completed and filed correctly.
