European Export Clerk
Laser Transport International, part of the Currie Solutions Group is continuing to expand, and we are looking for a European Export Clerk to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the Freight Forwarding industry, whether you are a graduate looking to take your first step into the sector or have previous experience in freight forwarding, transport or logistics.
You will play an important role in coordinating export movements, working closely with customers, transport teams, subcontractors and partners to ensure shipments are planned and managed efficiently from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining day-to-day contact with customers to understand and meet their service requirements.
Ensuring customer and partner requirements are met in an effective and cost-efficient manner.
Liaising with transport teams, subcontractors and partners to ensure requirements are communicated and fulfilled.
Proactively communicating with customers regarding any changes or discrepancies.
Preparing and submitting customs documentation.
Completing all administration, including pricing, costing and export paperwork, accurately and within required timescales.
Ensuring all information is entered accurately onto internal systems.
Preparing manifests and ensuring all required paperwork is complete and meets customer and partner requirements.
Assisting with trailer planning and coordinating closely with colleagues and transport partners.
Supporting the wider team with general administrative duties as required.
