Due to continued growth, PS Ridgway, part of the Currie Solutions Group, is looking to recruit a Transport Planner to join our team in Dundee. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and supportive planning team, with a particular focus on pallet network operations. Whether you already have experience in pallet network planning, transport planning or the wider logistics industry, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and forward-thinking, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a desire to develop their career. Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and coordinating pallet network collections and deliveries.
  • Communicating effectively with drivers, colleagues and customers.
  • Responding to operational changes throughout the day, including refused pallets, delayed deliveries and other service issues.
  • Updating and maintaining customer booking, collection and delivery information within our traffic management system.
  • Assisting with the routing and planning of vehicles to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Producing and compiling operational reports.
About You

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in transport planning, pallet network planning or the wider logistics industry (experience within pallet networks would be advantageous but is not essential).
  • Be organised, proactive and able to work accurately in a busy environment.
  • Have excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Be confident using Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Be eager to learn, develop and progress within the business.
