Laser Transport International Limited, part of the £80M turnover Currie Solutions Group, are recruiting for an Apprentice Groupage Operations Clerk to join their team in Warrington. Hours of work are Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining day to day contact with customers in order to determine their service requirements.
- Ensure that all administration (including pricing and costing) and paperwork is completed accurately.
- Ensure that all information is input on to the traffic management system accurately.
- To print all manifests and ensure that all paperwork is present and meets customer and partner requirements.
- Collate and process Proof of Deliveries.
- Liaise with warehouse and other depots.

Required level of competence for position:
- Good communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- Good time management
- Ability to work quickly and accurately
- Good working knowledge of relevant software packages e.g. relevant MS Office programmes, in house Traffic Management System.
Candidate entry requirements:
- Minimum of 3 standard grades level 3 or above or equivalent.
- Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of relevant MS office programmes.
- Full Training will be provided on in-house systems.
