About The Role\\nAssociate / Associate Director – Building Surveyor\\nLocation: Manchester\\nCurrie & Brown is seeking an experienced and motivated Associate / Associate Director Building Surveyor to join our Manchester team. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality surveying services, supporting client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of our regional business.\\nAbout the Role\\nIn this role, you will deliver a full range of building surveying services across multiple sectors, managing projects from inception through to completion. You will support the wider team, oversee client and project management activities, and help develop junior colleagues as they work toward chartership.

This position offers a clear pathway for future leadership opportunities.\\nKey Responsibilities\\n• Deliver professional building surveying services across design, specification, contract administration, surveys, technical due diligence, reinstatement cost assessments and dilapidations\\n• Lead and manage projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately and to client expectations\\n• Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants and contractors\\n• Undertake site inspections, surveys and project meetings as required\\n• Produce high-quality technical reports, documentation and outputs\\n• Build strong and lasting client relationships through professional delivery\\n• Support and mentor junior team members toward RICS accreditation\\n• Contribute to business development activities and generation of new work\\n• Support the Northern Head of Building Surveying with day-to-day team operations\\nWhat We’re Looking For\\n• Degree in building surveying or equivalent\\n• Chartered status (MRICS)\\n• Strong written, verbal and technical communication skills\\n• Proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS (beneficial)\\n• Experience across sectors such as higher education, local government or healthcare (advantageous)\\n• Strong technical capability in surveys, project management, repairs and maintenance\\n• Well-organised, proactive, commercially aware and able to manage multiple priorities\\n• A collaborative team player with a positive ‘can-do’ approach\\n• Strong IT skills (AutoCAD, NBS, MS Project and Microsoft Office suite)\\n\\nAbout The Company\\nWhy Currie & Brown?\\nCurrie & Brown is a global leader in physical asset management and construction consultancy.
