Currie & Brown is seeking an experienced Facilities Management (FM) Consultant to join our growing PPP team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high-profile public and private sector clients across Europe and the Middle East, helping them maximise the value and performance of their facilities management operations.

Working as part of a collaborative and highly experienced team, you will deliver strategic, commercial and operational FM consultancy across a diverse portfolio of projects. You will support clients in developing and implementing FM strategies that align with their wider business objectives, from designing effective operating models and governance structures through to procuring best-in-class service providers and embedding robust performance management and benchmarking frameworks.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced FM professional with a strong background in Public Private Partnerships (PPP/PFI) and integrated facilities management. You will provide trusted advice throughout the entire asset lifecycle, supporting contract mobilisation, transformation programmes, lifecycle and asset management, performance management, handback planning and ongoing operational excellence.

Your expertise will help clients optimise service delivery, improve compliance, achieve value for money and enhance stakeholder satisfaction, while ensuring facilities management strategies deliver long-term, sustainable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic facilities management consultancy across PPP/PFI and integrated FM projects.
  • Advise clients on FM strategy, operating models, contract performance and service improvement.
  • Support contract mobilisation, transformation, lifecycle management and PFI expiry/handback programmes.
  • Deliver asset management, benchmarking, operational reviews and performance analysis.
  • Contribute to procurement, tender evaluations and commercial assessments.
  • Build strong client relationships and present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory and industry best practice requirements.

Essential qualifications

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or significant industry experience.

Essential experience

  • Extensive experience in facilities management, asset management or FM consultancy.
  • Strong knowledge of PPP/PFI contracts and integrated FM service delivery.
  • Experience managing hard and soft FM services across complex environments.
  • Client-facing consultancy or project delivery experience with excellent analytical and report writing skills.
  • Experience within sectors such as healthcare, education, defence, transport, infrastructure or local government.
  • Experience working in, or knowledge of, the GCC region.

Desirable

  • Experience of PPP projects and concession handback.
  • Knowledge of asset management systems and digital FM technologies.
  • A proactive approach with a passion for delivering innovative FM solutions.
