About The Role

We are seeking an Associate Director to join our project and programme management team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, eager to grow into a future leader, and committed to delivering high standards of service, successful client outcomes, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. There will be opportunities to lead smaller projects or contribute to larger UK programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing full consultant teams to deliver construction projects for clients
  • Leading and expanding the Leeds project management team
  • Planning and monitoring project performance, implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Applying and overseeing project control and administration systems in line with company standards
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring requirements and approvals are met
  • Managing end-to-end project execution, defining goals, roles, and deliverables
  • Ensuring integration of design, construction, and commissioning processes
  • Managing change control processes towards successful project completion
  • Reporting on project cost, schedule, safety, and performance

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
  • Professional membership (chartered or incorporated status)
  • Experience managing new-build, fit-out, or refurbishment projects, especially in commercial sectors including retail, infrastructure, residential, healthcare, etc.
  • Experience across all project delivery stages
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, particularly APM
  • Ability to independently manage projects with minimal support
  • Experience with JCT or NEC contracts
