The opportunity
We’re hiring an Associate Director of Marketing & Communications for the UK & European region. A dynamic, strategic role that will lead the development and delivery of a best-in-class marketing strategy that supports business growth, drives visibility, and leverages our brand to its fullest potential.
You’ll be a core member of the UK & European leadership team, and a key partner to our global marketing function. You will translate strategic business goals into regionally relevant, commercially effective marketing activity.
The role:
Lead the UK & European marketing strategy
- Build and execute a marketing strategy that supports commercial growth, brand awareness, and client engagement across all regional business areas.
- Lead the brand and ensure our new brand is powerfully and consistently expressed across every client touchpoint.
- Translate business objectives into locally meaningful campaigns that reflect the nuances, maturity levels, and priorities of different UK & European markets.
Bring our new brand to life
- Embed the refreshed Currie & Brown brand across the region.
- Lead the next critical phase of our brand journey: raising mass awareness and significantly elevating Currie & Brown’s market position.
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and creativity in how the brand is applied across digital, print, client engagement, and internal platforms.
- Work in close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align brand and business goals.
Execute and elevate go-to-market campaigns
- Own the full campaign lifecycle; planning, budgeting, executing, and evaluating multi-channel integrated campaigns.
- Leverage insight, data, and competitor intelligence to refine messaging, channels, and tactics.
- Identify new opportunities to elevate Currie & Brown’s voice in the market and unlock growth.
Communications and stakeholder engagement
- Raise the profile of Currie & Brown across key audiences including clients, partners, our people, industry bodies, and media.
- Develop integrated, multi-channel communications strategies that span attraction, conversion, and retention.
- Work with the Group Marketing team to embed our global strategy at a regional level.
Team, agency & budget leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of two Marketing Managers and a Marketing Assistant.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to deliver on time, on brand, and on budget.
- Oversee the regional marketing budget and report on ROI, performance, and pipeline contribution.
What you\’ll bring
- 10+ years of experience in strategic marketing & communications roles.
- A proven track record of delivering complex, integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results.
- Experience with brand development or rollouts, including messaging strategy and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work in a matrixed, international environment and balance global strategy with local needs.
- A strategic thinker with hands-on capability – you’re just as comfortable in the details as you are setting direction.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills – with peers, senior leaders, and agency partners alike.
- Relevant experience of working in the construction or built asset environment would be beneficial
- Strong digital marketing skills and familiarity with tools such as CMS platforms, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint.
