About The Role
Currie & Brown is currently looking for an individual with either design or building control‑based background to deliver the Building Regulations Principal Designer and CDM Principal Designer role within our London project team. The successful candidate will ensure project compliance with the current building regulations, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation, and reinforcing our recognised reputation as preferred service provider.

Your core duties will involve:
- Complying with the responsibilities of the Principal Designer under the Building Regulations and CDM Regulations 2015
- Lead all Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) commissions, including resource coordination, fee management, and reporting to the Director of Health & Safety
- Review and stand on design risk and compliance documentation
- Produce, review, and update compliance risk registers and project coordination records
- Support clients with competence declarations
- Oversee reviews of full design packages, coordinating technical aspects
