Currie & Brown has an opportunity for a graduate to join the Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) Quantity Surveying team in our London office. The successful candidate will support the team to deliver cost consultancy services for our MEP clients.
Our continuing success at winning new clients, expanding services to existing clients and an ambitious growth agenda creates opportunities for people with the drive to help shape our future and be involved in stimulating and rewarding projects. Our MEP team wins and delivers an exceptionally high volume of work for clients. You will gain direct client-facing experience not typically available to MEP cost management professionals in traditional roles.
You will support the team to deliver:
- Cost plans and estimates and supporting presentation documents from inception and feasibility stages onwards
- Supporting leading procurement activities and contract formation
- Support the preparation of cost plans and estimates
- Representing and acting as an ambassador for the company in a professional and confidence-inspiring manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
Training and progression (APC programme): We will provide training through our industry leading structured RICS APC programme. With your commitment and our support, you'll become chartered in a minimum of two years (longer if a conversion course is required). Attaining RICS accreditation is a standard requirement for Currie & Brown's professional employees. The company seeks to produce high-calibre practitioners through its rigorous programme. Candidates will commit to ongoing studying and document preparation, while regular assessment ensures progress and identifies where further study or support is required.
