The role β what is it we would like you to do?
Currie & Brown is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager.
Your core duties will involve:
β’ Support the project lead in managing the design and construction phases of the design and fit-out of multi-sited projects
β’ Liaise with multiple stakeholders from the client and customer teams including, property services, designers, contractors, FM and building management and security consultants.
β’ Lead the coordination of the design of the customer fit-out against the client\βs design guides and constraints.
β’ Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments
β’ Assuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player
β’ Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects; liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control
β’ Assisting with commercial management services
β’ Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
β’ Providing support to the team leader/service leaders in cost management of projects
β’ Representing the company in a professional and diligent manner; meeting, negotiating and corresponding with clients to form strong working relationships
What skills and attributes are we looking for from you:
β’ Technical delivery experience gained within the construction industry
β’ Good technical writing, client-facing and communication skills
β’ Well-organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
β’ A team player with a \βcan-do\β attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible
β’ BSc in construction management, architecture, building surveying or equivalent
β’ Experience in the education sector environment would be advantageous
β’ Experience of fit-out projects
β’ Risk management qualifications or experience
