About The Role
Build a Career That Shapes the Future of Healthcare. Currie & Brown, a global leader in construction and physical asset management consultancy, is expanding its Healthcare Advisory team and is looking for a talented Business Case Specialist to help drive major healthcare infrastructure and transformation programmes across the UK. You'll play a vital role in shaping the future of NHS services and facilities. From strategic vision to detailed business cases, you'll deliver compelling, high-quality advice that unlocks investment and enables better healthcare outcomes for communities across the country.
What We're Looking For:
- Significant experience leading or contributing to NHS business cases (SOC, OBC, FBC), aligned to HM Treasury Green Book guidance
- Better Business Case accreditation at practitioner level (ideally)
- Strong knowledge of NHS capital investment processes and approvals pathways through NHSE, DHSC, and ICBs
- Ability to integrate clinical, operational, digital, estates, and financial inputs into cohesive and persuasive business case narratives
- Skilled in economic appraisal methodologies (e.g. cost-benefit analysis, cost-effectiveness analysis, multi-criteria analysis) and applying them in healthcare planning
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working in complex, multidisciplinary environments
- High-quality writing and document production skills, able to translate technical inputs into accessible, engaging content
- Up-to-date understanding of NHS policy context, including the Long Term Plan, ICS priorities, and New Hospital Programme expectations
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a desire to deliver impact
