Currie & Brown is looking for an Associate MEP Cost Consultant to join our growing South East team, based in either Southampton or Haywards Heath.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced MEP Cost Consultant looking to take the next step in their career, with the chance to work across a varied portfolio of healthcare, education and other public and private sector projects. You'll play an important role in delivering high-quality cost consultancy, developing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the team.
What you'll be doing
• Providing clear, accurate and commercially focused cost advice to clients
• Managing project costs and commissions with a high level of autonomy
• Preparing estimates and cost plans for M&E works
• Leading pre-contract budgeting, bid analysis and post-contract cost management
• Supporting project delivery and working closely with wider project teams
• Building strong, long-term relationships with clients and colleagues
• Sharing your knowledge and experience to support the development of others
• Contributing to the growth and development of the South East MEP team

What will make you successful in this role?
• BSc in quantity surveying, or similar
• RICS membership, or working towards it or similar
• A firm grasp of project cost control
• Confident client-facing and communication skills
• CostX experience is a bonus, though not essential
