Are you organised, customer-focused and ready to build your career in IT? Currie & Brown is looking for an IT Administrator to join our London team. You will provide practical day-to-day support across IT administration and user services, helping colleagues get the technology, equipment and assistance they need to work effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience in an IT-related role who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems and delivering a helpful, professional service.
What you will do
- Log, manage and progress IT support requests through the helpdesk ITSM system.
- Provide face-to-face and remote support for IT administration tasks.
- Maintain accurate software, hardware, consumable and asset records.
- Support the procurement of IT software, hardware and consumables, liaising with vendors and suppliers.
- Assist with the administration of Apple and Samsung mobile devices.
- Help support AV technologies, researching and testing solutions where needed.
- Maintain clear IT documentation and take ownership of assigned tasks through to completion.
- Occasionally support regional office visits, office moves or system installations.
What we are looking for
- A couple of years’ experience in an IT-related environment.
- Strong all-round computing skills and confidence using Microsoft Excel.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A highly organised, methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
- A customer-focused and approachable manner.
- The ability to prioritise, take responsibility and follow tasks through.
- A willingness to learn, research and test solutions.
Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems, IT procurement, supplier management, mobile devices, AV technologies or software and hardware administration would be an advantage.
How you will work
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
- Location: This is an office-based support role in London, with flexibility as required by the team.
- Travel: Occasional travel to regional offices may be required.
- Reporting to: IT Director – UK & Europe.
