Currie & Brown has a year in industry Finance Assistant role to join our UK based finance team in our London Holborn office. This role would be suitable for students looking to gain experience working within a finance team in a commercial, global business, learning about operational finance.

You will support the finance team and the wider business via production of accounting information. The UK team supports Europe and a bilingual individual who speaks either or both German and Spanish would be beneficial.

Role and responsibilities:
  • Review and approval of staff expenses
  • Administration of travel booking system
  • Preparation of billing and timesheet reports
  • Support preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in preparation of VAT returns
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Carry out other ad hoc activities at the direction of the senior finance team
We are looking for someone who has the following skills:
  • Conscientious with high attention to detail
  • Team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Fluent German and or Spanish speaker
