About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Product Design Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will shape design strategy, drive change, and translate business goals into impactful design outcomes that elevate our brand and product portfolio. You will lead cross-functional collaborations, inspire creativity, and ensure that design remains central to our mission of pioneering beauty technology.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement design strategies aligned with business goals and brand vision.
· Lead and inspire a team of designers to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions.
· Translate strategic objectives into actionable design plans, balancing creativity and practicality.
· Champion design thinking across the organisation, advocating for user needs and experience.
· Collaborate with stakeholders across product, marketing, and regulatory teams to align on strategy.
· Drive change by identifying opportunities for design improvements and operational efficiencies.
· Ensure high standards of quality, consistency, and innovation in all design outputs.
· Support the development of design frameworks, guidelines, and best practices.
· Present design strategies and concepts to senior leadership and influence decision-making.
Candidate Requirements:
· Extensive experience in product design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
· Proven track record of developing and executing design strategies within consumer products or technology sectors.
· Expertise in user-centred design, design thinking methodologies, and product lifecycle management.
· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor designers.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing at senior levels.
· Proficiency in design tools and systems (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, CAD, or similar).
· Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on design oversight.
· Visionary thinker with a strong sense of creativity and innovation.
· Strategic mindset with the ability to align design outputs with business goals.
· Confident decision-maker who can drive change and foster a culture of collaboration.
