About the Team:
The finance team plays a pivotal role in steering our financial strategy and ensuring sustainable growth. We are dedicated to maintaining robust financial health, optimising profitability, and delivering exceptional value to our stakeholders. Our mission is to empower the company with accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.
About the Role:
•. Assist in the month end process through posting of relevant accrual and prepayment journals
• Take ownership of P&L and Balance sheet nominals allocated to yourself. Ensuring balances in the P&L reflect business performance and balance sheet reconciliations are performed each month.
• Assist with production and development of financial reporting to the business stakeholders to support decision making.
• Ensure analysis reconciles to Financial data to ensure comfort over the figure being provided, investigate any variances in the data
• Take a vested interest in adding commentary to analysis being run to identify business actions. This is not a pre-requisite and something we will support the individual in this role to develop this skill over time.
• Assist with VAT and tax filings
• Analyse financial information to assist business profitability and growth.
•. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Support a Management Account with other financial tasks in month and at month end
Candidate Requirements:
•. AAT qualified or early stages ACCA/CIMA
• Strong Excel skills
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Proactive, organised individual comfortable working to set deadlines
• Open and honest with good communication skills
• Confident and approachable and able to communicate well with a team that is based in another location.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
