About the area
UWA is making significant investments in the Information and Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. UWA is also looking to utilise technology advancements to expand its services and create new and innovative teaching and research models. The function of the Architecture unit is to own and align strategy, architecture and programs as well as projects management across the University to achieve business outcomes. UWA is moving towards modern Enterprise Architecture practices that are pragmatic in order to manage risk, impact and value.
About the opportunity
- Lead and direct the Enterprise Architecture practice, prioritise the architectures to align with the IT & Data Strategy, develop architecture views to enable strategic initiatives.
- Develop effective relationships and work closely with the Portfolio function (within Strategy, Architecture & Data and with Delivery Enablement) to recommend architectural priorities and validate solution alignment to architectural standards and practices.
- Contribute to the development of a University future enterprise platform architecture landscape view and identify key decommissioning projects to move to the future state and identifying cost efficiencies and value creation.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency.
- TOGAF 9 or 10 certification.
- Demonstrated TOGAF experience and application in a practical and lean manner.
- Extensive experience in Orbus iServer architecture repository.
- Experience with the Enterprise Architecture model in ServiceNow.
