Work in a cutting-edge nursing simulation environment supporting clinical skills education. Collaborate with academics to deliver high-quality teaching and research outcomes. Part-time (0.6 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis. Base salary range: $95,231– $100,643 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area:
College Services provides academic administration and technical support to UWA schools, ensuring high-quality teaching and research outcomes. Within this, Technical Services delivers specialist expertise across the Life Sciences portfolio, supporting disciplines such as nursing, physiology, anatomy and allied health. The team is focused on safety, innovation and operational excellence in teaching, simulation and research environments.
About the opportunity:
- Provide operational oversight of nursing simulation facilities, ensuring equipment, technologies and environments are optimised for teaching and research.
- Partner with academic staff to design, prepare and deliver simulation-based activities and support clinical skills education.
- Supervise technical operations, including staff coordination, safety compliance and maintenance of simulation equipment and resources.
About you:
- Nursing or health qualification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting simulation environments and/or clinical skills teaching.
- Proven ability to supervise staff and coordinate technical operations.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with academic, technical and student stakeholders.
