Contribute to meaningful work that directly supports student success, research activity, and the University’s strategic objectives. Part-time (0.8 FTE) appointment on an ongoing basis. Base salary range: $83,212 – $92,231 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.

About the area:

  • College Services provides academic administration and technical support services to the University’s schools, including Heads of School, academic staff and research students.
  • The team is committed to providing effective and efficient services in support of the Schools’ and University’s strategic objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement and best practice.
  • The Schools Operations team provides academic support services and general administrative support to the University’s Schools.

About the opportunity:

  • Play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a University School, delivering high-quality administrative and operational support across a range of programs and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with academic and professional teams to ensure seamless service delivery, including HDR support, committees, engagement activities, and general office coordination.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance processes, workflows, and service outcomes.

About you:

  • Demonstrated experience in administrative support within a complex or fast-paced environment, ideally within higher education or a similar setting.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear advice and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to use initiative, exercise sound judgement, and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A strong customer service focus, with a commitment to delivering high-quality and responsive support.
