Play a key role in delivering a high‑quality scholarships experience that supports student access, success and progression. Join a collaborative Student Success and Progression team committed to service excellence and continuous improvement. Full-time (1.0 FTE) appointment on a fixed term basis for 12 months. Base salary range: $83,212 – $92,231 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About the area
The Directorate of Student Success and Progression sits within the UWA Education Portfolio, overseen by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Education and Student Experience. Student Success and Progression play an integral role in the shared strategic goal of providing a world-class student experience. The Directorate has responsibility for critical functions across the student lifecycle, including Admissions, Enrolments, Fees, Scholarships, Timetabling, Student Advising, Exams and Graduation. Working across the University, the Directorate partners with academic and professional leaders to deliver integrated, student-centred services that support academic success, retention, and progression. The Scholarships team works closely with students, academic and professional staff, and external stakeholders to administer a diverse range of equity, merit and donor‑funded scholarships.
About the opportunity
- Coordinating designated scholarships, including promotion, application processing, assessment support, offer management, financial administration and reporting.
- Responding to a wide range of student and stakeholder enquiries using sound judgement and a customer‑focused approach.
About you
- A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Substantial administrative experience, ideally within a complex service environment.
- Proven ability to deliver high‑quality customer service to diverse stakeholders.
- Well‑developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently, use initiative and meet deadlines while contributing positively to a team.
