About the opportunity
- Identify and grow a pipeline of business development opportunities, such as contract research and collaborative grant funding.
- Establish and manage relevant internal and external stakeholders to facilitate collaborations, manage expectations and provide outcomes.
- Initiate and lead OICD internal decision making with analysis, reporting and recommendations, exercising decision making and commercial judgement.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualification or demonstrated equivalent competency in a related field.
- Understanding of how research is conducted within a university, government and/or industry environment, including knowledge of appropriate funding opportunities.
- Business development skills and commercial acumen with the ability to identify research partnership growth opportunities.
- Substantial project management experience with the demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and complete projects to good outcomes.
- Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to set priorities and to meet deadlines.
