This hands-on role puts you at the heart of our communities. You’ll work as a pair with a colleague. You’ll travel across our estates keeping shared spaces clean and welcoming for residents. You’ll meet our residents along the way and make their surroundings cleaner and safer each day.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning shared areas including stairwells, entrances and common spaces
  • Hoovering, mopping and sweeping to keep areas spotless
  • Cleaning bin rooms and litter picking around estates
  • Moving between buildings throughout the day, including going up and down stairs regularly
  • Spot and report any repairs or health and safety concerns to the right teams
  • Complete all paperwork and records accurately

Essential More about you

  • A full UK driving licence as you’ll drive a Curo van between locations
  • Experience working with customers in a service role
  • Strong attention to detail in your work
  • Ability to work well with a colleague and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with good planning skills
  • Comfortable using mobile devices and technology
  • Able to work up and down stairs regularly throughout the day
  • Ability to put tasks in order and solve problems on your own

Desirable

  • Previous experience in cleaning, gardening or similar hands-on roles
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices when using equipment
