Our Groundworks team maintains and repairs the outdoor spaces that matter to our residents across Bath, Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire - and we need people who take pride in hands‑on work to join us. If you prefer being outside to being stuck indoors and you're not afraid to get your hands dirty, this could be perfect. You'll be part of a close‑knit team of three, fixing the paths, walls and fences that keep our communities safe and looking their best.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Starting each day from your team van and travelling to properties across the region
  • Working outdoors in all weathers as part of a supportive three‑person team
  • Repairing and replacing damaged sections of paths, fixing cracks and making surfaces safe
  • Helping repair fencing including posts and panels to keep boundaries secure
  • Assisting with brickwork repairs and pointing on existing walls
  • Supporting multi‑trade colleagues with small drainage repairs and installations
  • Collecting and disposing of waste as part of keeping communities tidy
  • Using basic tools and equipment to complete repairs efficiently
  • Managing your van stock and materials to keep jobs moving

  • Experience in manual labour - construction, labouring, landscaping, groundworks or similar hands‑on roles
  • Willingness to work outdoors - comfortable working in all weather conditions year‑round
  • Not afraid to get hands dirty - this is practical, manual work that can be messy
  • Basic tool skills helpful - any experience with tools, basic carpentry or heavy lifting valued
  • Reliable character - good attendance, punctual, and works well as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence - essential for travelling between properties
  • Physical fitness - able to handle manual work including lifting and carrying
