Job Description:

What you\โ€™ll be doing

  • Managing our Kitchen and Facilities team, providing strong performance management, coaching and mentoring
  • Overseeing delivery of planned preventative maintenance and ensuring all statutory compliance
  • Managing service contracts including cleaning, security, waste and catering suppliers
  • Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify and address maintenance needs quickly
  • Standing in for chefs when needed and ensuring food hygiene, safety and allergen compliance
  • Managing contractors to ensure work is safe, professional and good value for money
  • Taking responsibility for sustainability initiatives including energy efficiency and food waste reduction
  • Acting as a key holder with responsibility for duty management, including weekends
  • Supporting the events team with setup and breakdown of rental spaces

More about you

We\โ€™re looking for someone with excellent team management skills and hospitality experience who can manage both people and processes effectively. You\โ€™re hands-on, detail-oriented, and ready to take ownership of this diverse role.

  • Strong team management experience
  • Experience in catering, hospitality or events management
  • Understanding of compliance requirements and processes
  • Ability to stand in for chefs when required
  • Excellent attention to detail and administrative skills
  • Problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
  • Computer literacy for managing systems and documentation

Working pattern

This is a full-time, on-site position. You\โ€™ll work 40 hours per week including duty management responsibilities during evenings and weekends. Flexibility with your schedule is essential.
