The Role – As a Product Verification and Test Engineer you will be a member of the Engineering team focusing on test verification of both current and next generation Positioning test solutions. This role is electronics & systems test focused, and requires hands on manual testing experience., * Setup and perform complex test procedures in both current and next generation Positioning solutions.

The Candidate – This role would suit a candidate with a hardware/systems testing bias. The successful candidate will have hands on experience with RF Test equipment such as power meters, frequency counters, Oscilloscopes etc. This is an on-site lab-based position, and requires a candidate that can accommodate predominantly on site in Paignton, Devon. The occasional day from home is viable, but ideally no less than 4 days a week on-site.
You will be conducting manual testing, of niche and bespoke products and systems. The core experience required is manual hardware/systems testing. This would suit an inquisitive person, who is keen to learn the workings of new products. Ideally, this role requires 2+ years of post-qualified relatable industry experience. They are happy to train and upskill, so you do not need to tick every box, we would like someone who has the right attitude and willingness to learn., BA, BEng or HND in appropriate Engineering discipline (electronics/scientific/RF/physics etc.), Experience in a Product Verification and Test environment.

Experience in programming/design/Scripting languages including LabVIEW, Matlab, Python, and with Unix and Windows operating systems.

Experience in using lab test equipment, spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes and RF power meters etc.

Knowledge of phase modulation (BPSK, QPSK, etc.), spread spectrum, signal detection, signal and interference analysis, baseband filtering, data formatting, etc.

Excellent interpersonal communication, problem solving, presentation and analytical skills.

Eager to learn new technologies, self-motivated, energetic approach.
