Initially based from the East Kilbride office, you'll play a key role in supporting the company's transition to its new Glasgow City Centre offices. Working alongside the wider IT team, you'll help ensure the successful migration of infrastructure and services before becoming permanently based in the new Glasgow location. Working as part of an established technical team, you'll be responsible for maintaining Windows Server and Microsoft 365 environments, supporting Hyper-V infrastructure, managing server and networking hardware, and helping ensure systems remain secure, stable and highly available. The environment is varied and hands-on, offering exposure across infrastructure operations, hardware management, security and infrastructure improvement initiatives. This is a hybrid position requiring three days per week in the office.

Key Duties:

  • Administer and support Windows Server environments
  • Manage and maintain Hyper-V virtualised infrastructure
  • Support core technologies including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Intune and Entra ID

  • Assist with the IT elements of the office relocation to Glasgow City Centre
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, improvements and ongoing projects
  • Ensure systems remain secure, patched and compliant with best practices
  • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation
  • Provide technical support across the wider business

Requirements:

  • Strong Windows Server administration experience
  • Experience supporting Hyper-V environments
  • Good understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
  • Experience supporting Windows infrastructure and network troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Entra ID/Azure AD
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working within structured IT environments and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Desirable experience includes Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu), PowerShell Scripting, backup and disaster recovery concepts, software development environments or infrastructure migration projects.
