Our Global Enterprise client is looking for a Tech Bar Engineer to join their on-site support team.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 720 days (initially)
Pay Rate: £113 p/d (PLEASE NOTE: Employer NI is paid for by the client)
Total Daily Earnings: £128 p/d (includes rolled up holiday)
IR35 Status: Inside
Location: Any of the following location: London, Manchester
Technical Skills:
- Previous experience on a Tech Bar/Walk-up Support service.
- Experience in handling incidents and requests.
- Microsoft Windows technical support experience.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Office 365 Suite.
- Competent in using and supporting Microsoft Teams.
- Able to support mobile technologies, including Apple and Android.
- Familiar with building, configuring, and troubleshooting desktops and laptops.
- Understanding of Azure, Autopilot, and Intune to deploy software to devices.
- Experience using BMC Helix to log and update tickets.
- Any previous support experience with Apple Macs would also be beneficial.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to build relationships with your colleagues, wider support teams, and partners at all levels across the business.
- Must be able to work alone and unsupervised, using initiative when necessary.
- A continuous improvement mentality to see and call out areas to improve customer experience.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of knowledge base articles and documentation for common issues.
