Stock Condition & Domestic Energy Assessor
Salary: £34,485 per annum (plus annual car users allowance of £900 per annum)

Curo, a leading housing association based in Bath, is seeking a self-motivated individual to take on the role of Domestic Energy Assessor & Stock Condition Surveyor to play a crucial part in our Property Assessment team.
This will be a hybrid role, with the option to work from home, field and Curos offices.

What you'll be doing
As a Property Assessor, youll be joining one of the largest landlords in the Southwest with more than 13,000 homes, from starter homes to Grade I listed buildings, in locations from rural villages to city centres. We are building hundreds of homes every year, creating an interesting environment to work in and we can guarantee no two days are ever the same.
Youll be part of a team responsible for carrying out stock condition surveys and energy performance assessments to determine the age, condition and efficiency of our homes to ensure they meet statutory compliance regulations and Curo standards.
Youll be covering an area including, Bath, Bristol and Northeast Somerset & South Gloucestershire. You can work flexibly between 8am-5.30 pm, Monday to Friday, based on our customers needs.

Above all, we are looking for a real people person with fantastic communication skills and a passion to deliver renowned customer service.
The successful property assessor will be either a qualified domestic energy assessor, OR, be willing to be trained towards this qualification.
You will ideally have sound knowledge of basic property maintenance and understanding of Housing Health & Safety (HHSRS).
The ideal candidate will also have:

City and Guilds qualification in Domestic Energy Assessments or be working towards this.

The ability to identify hazards, risks and defects in our customers homes.

A keen eye for detail.

The ability to maintain focus and momentum when lone working.

A passion for housing with a good understanding of domestic construction.

Be resilient, flexible and self-motivated, with excellent organisation and IT skills (MS Excel) and the ability to thrive in a busy team environment.
