We are looking for a talented professional to join our team supporting the build, validation, and operation of a PET Radiopharmacy facility, followed by hands‑on involvement in GMP production and quality control of PET radiotracers for clinical use. From early project phases through full GMP operations, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant, and high‑quality radiopharmaceutical production.
What You’ll Do:
- Project & Validation Phase
- Contribute technical expertise during facility build, installation, and commissioning
- Assist with equipment, production, and QC validation activities
- PET Radiopharmaceutical Production
- Manufacture PET radiopharmaceuticals using hot cells and isolators
- Perform sterile and aseptic dispensing using negative pressure isolator technology
- Apply radiation protection principles (ALARA) at all times
- Support packing and dispatch in line with transport and regulatory requirements
- Cleanroom & Facility Operations
- Perform sanitation and cleaning of aseptic suites, isolators, and production areas
- Conduct environmental and radiation monitoring
- Manage consumables transfer and stock control
- Quality Control & GMP Compliance
- Perform QC testing (radiochemical and radionuclide purity) per European Pharmacopoeia
- Maintain GMP‑compliant documentation and batch records
- Support deviation management, Root Cause Analysis, and CAPA activities
- Assist with equipment qualification and requalification activities
- Manage incoming materials, stock levels, and system production orders
- Maintain equipment and facility logs (fridges, freezers, isolators, etc.)
- Support the training of technicians across the PET manufacturing and QC processes
- Work cross‑functionally to ensure smooth production and quality operations
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical chemistry and GMP
- Experience working in controlled or GMP environments
- Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
- High level of computer literacy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Willingness to work rotating 12‑hour shifts (midnight – 17:00 window)
Nice to Have:
- Radiopharmacy or aseptic dispensing experience
- Knowledge of Ionising Radiation Local Rules, COSHH, and H&S procedures
