Hours: 3 hours per month, one Saturday each month

Contract: Fixed-term / sessional, linked to the Southwark Council peer mentoring contract

About the Role

Curiously Divergent CIC is looking for a warm, approachable and reliable Peer Support Group Facilitator to help deliver our neuro-affirming peer mentoring groups for neurodivergent adults in Southwark.

Commissioned by Southwark Council, our programme provides welcoming, accessible spaces where neurodivergent adults can connect with others, share experiences, build confidence and feel part of a supportive community.

We are recruiting someone to facilitate sessions for our Southwark Peer Mentoring Network, which includes two dedicated groups:

Neurodivergent Parents, Carers and Partners: Supporting people to connect and share experiences of navigating family life, caring responsibilities, relationships and their own neurodivergent needs.

Autistic Women's Peer Network: Creating space for autistic women to explore identity, shared experiences, confidence, relationships and self-advocacy.

Our groups are designed to be relaxed, welcoming and low-pressure.

Participants are not expected to make eye contact, speak in front of others, sit still or share personal information. We recognise that everyone communicates and participates differently.

The successful candidate will help create an inclusive environment where people feel comfortable connecting with others in ways that work for them.
