  • Supply Chain Manager
  • Purpose of the Role

As Curious Universe continues to expand internationally, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to lead the development of our European supply chain.

This is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring our products move efficiently across global markets whilst maintaining compliance with international regulations, supporting key retail customers, and developing scalable processes to support future growth.

Working closely with Commercial, Sales, Production, Operations, Shipping, Finance and our international Customers, you will play a key role in delivering operational excellence.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement supply chain solutions that support the continued growth of Curious Universe's European business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international freight forwarders, warehousing partners and third-party logistics providers, monitoring performance against agreed service levels and identifying opportunities to improve cost, service and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of supply chain issues affecting international customer deliveries, coordinating with internal teams, suppliers and logistics partners to resolve problems quickly while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout.
  • Act as the operational lead for key international customers, managing the end-to‑end order fulfilment process including order processing, invoicing, shipment coordination and responding to customer enquiries, ensuring a consistently high standard of customer service.
  • Provide guidance and operational support to internal departments, to ensure customer requirements are delivered efficiently and compliantly.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer logistics teams, acting as the primary operational contact and fostering collaborative partnerships that support long‑term business growth.
  • Ensuring the business remains compliant with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), country‑specific environmental and packaging legislations, import and export regulations, customs requirements and other relevant supply chain obligations across multiple territories.
  • Act as the primary operational contact for Curious Universe Gmb H, working closely with colleagues in both the UK and Germany to align processes, coordinate European operations and promote consistent ways of working across the business.
  • Capture, review and document operational processes, creating clear, scalable procedures that support business continuity, facilitate training and enable the organisation to grow efficiently.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience within supply chain or logistics management.
  • Strong understanding of global freight, customs and international distribution.
  • Experience working with European warehousing and managing third‑party logistics providers.
  • Knowledge of import/export documentation and international trade.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Excel and ERP system experience.

• Any German language skills are a bonus!
