This is an opportunity for a senior and design-driven FF&E professional to step into a pivotal leadership role within a well-established interior architecture and design studio. The studio is seeking a Head of FF&E who excels in setting creative direction, leading teams, and delivering highly refined FF&E packages across luxury residential and hospitality projects.

The practice operates from a West London studio and is recognised for delivering elegant, bespoke interiors with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship, materiality, and detail. Working across high-end private residences and hospitality environments, the studio combines timeless design with a rigorous, considered approach to delivery.

The studio offers significant creative autonomy, with FF&E playing a central role in defining the character and quality of each project. This role is suited to a senior leader who is motivated by shaping design outcomes, mentoring teams, and strengthening FF&E as a core discipline within a growing studio.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the FF&E team, fostering a collaborative, detail-focused studio culture and supporting professional development.
  • Set and uphold the creative direction for FF&E across luxury residential and hospitality projects, ensuring alignment with the studio’s design ethos.
  • Oversee FF&E delivery from concept through procurement and installation, maintaining the highest standards of quality, programme, and budget control.
  • Act as the senior FF&E lead in client meetings, presentations, and workshops, clearly communicating design intent and procurement strategy.
  • Manage FF&E budgets, schedules, supplier coordination, and procurement processes.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks relating to lead times, procurement, and installation.
  • Ensure FF&E specifications meet expectations for craftsmanship, durability, performance, and longevity.
  • Work closely with interior design, interior architecture, and project teams to ensure cohesive and fully integrated project delivery.

Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience leading FF&E on luxury residential and/or hospitality projects.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and mentoring FF&E or interiors teams.
  • Strong creative eye with exceptional attention to detail, proportion, and materiality.
  • Solid commercial awareness, with experience managing FF&E budgets and procurement strategies.
  • Confident client-facing skills, with experience presenting and advising at a senior level.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent knowledge of FF&E suppliers, bespoke fabrication, lead times, and installation processes.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional interior quality.

This is an opportunity to join a respected, design-led studio where FF&E is integral to the success and identity of the work. As Head of FF&E, you will play a key role in shaping the studio’s creative output, strengthening its delivery capability, and leading the evolution of FF&E across luxury projects.

If you are a senior FF&E professional ready to take ownership, lead teams, and shape beautifully crafted interiors within a collaborative and ambitious studio environment, we would be pleased to hear from you.
