A leading real estate consultancy operating within the prime and super‑prime residential market is looking for a commercially astute Data Analyst to join its growing research and insight function. This role would suit an individual who understands the high‑end residential property market in the UK; however, the consultancy is open to candidates from other sectors where the experience is transferable.
The role centres around three key areas: strategy, data and implementation. The strategic aspect of the role focuses on how this data can be capitalised on in collaboration with their wider partners across the UK. In time, the remit will expand to explore how this intelligence can be leveraged on an international scale.
You will play a key role in how this data is gathered, stored, analysed and monetised to grow this offering in the company. A key part of the position will involve presenting insights and pitching ideas to both internal teams and external partners. This would suit someone who is a confident communicator and influencer using clear evidence drawn from data.
The role will also include elements of business development and work‑winning therefore candidates will be comfortable contributing commercially and understanding the end goal of the work they are producing. You will be responsible for collecting and structuring project data, analysing costs, programmes and specification trends, and translating this into clear benchmarking and industry insight.
The consultancy has already built a significant dataset which is beginning to shape industry benchmarks in a market where transparency has historically been limited. They are looking for data analysts who understand how data platforms are structured, and how insights can be applied in a practical and strategic way.
You will be refining and evolving the platform into an intelligent resource, ensuring it remains robust, commercially relevant and capable of informing decision‑making at the highest level. The role sits within a strong leadership environment where ideas and thinking are encouraged. The successful candidate will have ownership over the evolution and implementation of this strategy.
It requires a balance of commercial awareness and curiosity; someone comfortable interrogating and developing data insights while also thinking about the wider strategic opportunity. Key characteristics will include self‑starters who take leadership of projects and are comfortable driving initiatives through to completion.
The successful profile will have a background in data science and ideally experience in management consultancy. The client is looking to speak to candidates who have a strong understanding of AI and how it can be used to drive efficiencies and service offerings within the business. The business is currently building an AI platform and cost calculator and the expectation would be to help develop and refine these tools. This role will focus on understanding how to utilise AI effectively and support the growth of the business.
