Job Description
This role is focused on our Small Business banking digital experience benchmarking product, which helps financial services clients understand how their digital platforms compare to peers and fintechs across a broad range of features and functionalities.
Working with leading banks across the UK, you will evaluate banking experiences, identify trends, and provide strategic insight that helps senior leaders and digital product owners make informed business decisions about how they should transform their small business experiences and the investment priorities for digital development.
Leveraging Curinos' unique access to proprietary comprehensive experience data covering UK small business digital banking onboarding and servicing journeys, you will translate client business needs into insight and actionable recommendations that support client business performance and growth goals.
As a Senior Associate, you will be working with a portfolio of highly regarded financial services brands, develop deep knowledge of the small business banking market, and deliver experience benchmarking insights to senior stakeholders across the industry.
Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end delivery of benchmarking and research programs for leading financial services clients related to the proprietary data intelligence platform
- Collecting, validating, and analyzing experience and qualitative data working with mystery shopping panelists and bank account experiences for ad hoc research programs
- Utilizing proprietary benchmarking datasets to identify market trends, capability gaps, competitive dynamics, and key business drivers
- Developing clear, data-driven recommendations and strategic insights tailored to individual client needs
- Maintaining strong relationships with banking and financial services clients, supporting trusted advisor relationships and providing subject matter expertise
- Supporting and delivering client presentations, executive reports, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Maintaining expertise in small business banking trends, customer behaviors, competitive developments, and regulatory changes
- Building knowledge and understanding of wider digital banking developments and trends by collaborating with other subject matter experts and programs in the digital team
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance the proprietary benchmarking platform, methodologies, and client deliverables
- Identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and deliver additional value through Curinos products and services
- Developing a strong understanding of client business models, strategic priorities, and market challenges to provide meaningful consultative support
- Supporting thought leadership initiatives and market insight development within the small business banking sector
- Desired Skills & Expertise
- Experience in market research, consulting, digital or user experience, customer insights, or a similar client-facing environment.
- Experience conducting research involving small businesses and/or small business banking is strongly preferred.
- Experience working in roles such as Senior Research Executive, Research Manager, Associate Director, Consultant, or similar positions is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to gather, interpret, and analyze user experience or journey data and translate findings into clear business recommendations
- Ability to flex between qualitative and quantitative data skills and research
- Strong visual analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, with design skills as an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working independently and meeting strict deadlines.
- Confident communicator and presenter providing recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders.
- Experience in providing support for commercial growth in producing client briefs and proposals
