We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children’s Registered Manager to lead a brand-new 2-bed EBD home in Runcorn. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong track record of success and genuine plans for expansion.
You’ll be working alongside an experienced Operations Director/Responsible Individual with over 15 years of experience in opening and developing Children’s Residential Homes—four of which have achieved Outstanding ratings with Ofsted. The current staff team is already in place and brings a wealth of experience across EBD, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, and therapeutic care, giving you a strong foundation to build on.
With ambitious growth plans to open an additional 4–5 homes within the next 18 months, this role offers a clear pathway to progress into a Responsible Individual position, alongside long-term job security and career development. We also offer flexibility, with the option of a hybrid working approach prior to registration, and full autonomy to shape your team—leading on recruitment and implementing training aligned with your vision.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the home
- Ensure high standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations

- Minimum 2 years’ recent experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager in children’s residential care
- NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards)
- Strong understanding of EBD and relevant childcare legislation
- Proven leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills
- Full right to work in the UK (no restrictions)
