We’re looking for an HR Advisor to join a supportive and collaborative People team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with managers, supporting day‑to‑day people matters, and developing their HR advisory skills in a well‑structured environment. You’ll play a key role in delivering a positive employee experience, providing practical HR support, and assisting with employee relations activity, with guidance and backing from senior HR colleagues when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for routine HR queries from managers and employees.
  • Support employee relations matters such as absence, performance and basic conduct cases.
  • Assist with investigations, meetings and note‑taking where required.
  • Provide guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures.
  • Support wellbeing, absence management and return‑to‑work processes.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support people data reporting.
  • Collaborate with the wider People & Culture team on projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 3 qualified (or working towards).
  • Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Officer or HR Coordinator role.
  • Some exposure to employee relations processes (full case ownership not essential).
  • Good understanding of HR policies and employment law fundamentals.
  • Confident, professional and comfortable building relationships with managers.
  • Organised, detail‑focused and keen to develop an HR advisory career.
